SKX07 MOD help

Hi

Can anyone point me in the right direction. I have a modified SKX07 ( bought from the forum )
which has developed a fault with the crown.
I took it to Watchdoctors and they wouldnt touch it because the serial numbers didnt match??

Has anybody any recommendations so I can get it repaired?
