    Rolex Dubai

    Hi All,

Does anyone know how the list prices in Dubai compare to that in the U.K..

I’m assuming they suffer from the same shortages we do!

I think list prices elsewhere are always higher than UK. UK has one of the lowest list prices worldwide.

Was there a few weeks ago - as already stated, more expensive and nothing available to get excited about.

Poor availability, more expensive, and also (legally) you also have VAT to pay on top when you take back into the UK.

Stick to UK is my advice.

I think in Asia, Datejust 41s and OP36/39s are more widely available. But same story with sports models.

It was a couple of years ago now, but when in Dubai the selection was poor and prices higher than at home. I suspect you might be disappointed.

Of course, I would assume once the 20% is paid you'd need one heck of a discount

We were stopping briefly at Dubai International Airport on Friday.
They had nothing of S/S interest in either of the two terminals that we visited.
Though I did get to look and try on a 2019 DD 36mm (128238)which is the first one that I had seen. Comes with the new movement and ceramic sleeves in the bracelet. For all intent and purposes it was, imo, exactly the same as the 118238.
I asked about the price which was around £23,500 MRSP is about £1,000 more. But of course you would have to add 20% VAT plus any other charges if you were bringing it back to the UK.
    So very expensive!
