We purchased our Cayenne second hand through Porsche Perth. Long list of items that needed sorting, which have now been resolved. However i would not recommend them, they just wanted the sale.
Always sorry to hear about car troubles, really hope they get sorted soon!
Our Taycan arrived in November, and (touch wood), hasn't put a foot wrong. Always feels like a special event to get behind the wheel.
We also purchased through Porsche Leeds, and we have nothing but good things to say about our SA and the aftersales. Attentive, responsive to email / phone calls, no matter how minor the question.
It's crazy how different the experience can vary from person to person at the same dealership / company!

My giant thread from two years ago is a very long read, but in a nut shell, it's the Service Department at OPC Leeds which, for various reasons, failed completely, weren't able to fix even the simplest of issues, damaged both of my cars (dents, scrapes, broken parts), had them for a total of 7 months, and in the end didn't fix many of the issues, some of which were incredibly simple (leaking AC hose on the 997), some of which weren't (fault in the fuel injection on the 930). It got so bad that after they fixed the damage they caused to the 930 they said it would take too long for them to investigate the problem car went into them for in the first place. My independent fixed it in two days...
It was an incredible comedy of errors, from sending the car off site to an independent carb specialist, without my consent, even thought the car is fuel injected, to firing the service advisor over it (he didn't work on the cars, he just took them in) and telling me he's now driving a bus, to putting my 930 in their showroom on display as they didn't know how to fix it but didn't want to tell me... I know it was in the middle of the pandemic, but if it didn't happen to me I wouldn't believe it.
They subsequently told me they actually lost their classic car specialist mechanic who retired just before the pandemic, so they shouldn't have ever accepted to work on the 930, but as a Classic Porsche Partner, they couldn't refuse it. This still didn't explain how they managed to break and dent multiple things in the engine bay of the 997, but by that point I was just glad to have the cars back and have them fixed properly by someone who cares to do a good job.
Porsche GB took interest, but aside from putting pressure on Leeds, which is JCT600 owned, they were powerless. They themselves gave me about £2000 worth of gifts as an apology, while Leeds promised me a Silverstone experience, which is yet to materialise. I keep in touch with the head of business there as he's a pretty good guy, but I would sooner take my cars to Halfords to be fixed than back to them ever again.
I've had 8 or 9 including 5 Boxters and a Cayman. I use them as everyday cars. The Boxster 987S is possibly one of the finest sports cars ever made. Masses of usable performance, 25 mpg and if you find a decent independent, not expensive to run. If you're using it as a toy, you want to buy a 2005 car to get the lower road tax. It's all about buying well. Buy a dog and it will cost you beyond your wildest dreams.
