Hi folks. As some of you know I try do a little bit to support the efforts of the The Calm Zone (www.thecalmzone.net) which is a brilliant charity leading the fight against suicide in young men in the UK. Tragically 18 men under the age of 45 take their own lives every day on average, making suicide the biggest killer of men in this age group. Crap and unacceptable, I’m sure you’ll agree.
This year the Waltham Forest Youth Choir has re-recorded East17’s famous ‘Stay Another Day’ in the hope they make it to Christmas number 1. Tony Mortimer wrote this originally after his brother took his own life, something very few people know.
This new version is rather excellent. Maybe you can have a listen and download it if it’s to your taste for a very good cause. Thanks for reading.

Thanks nunya 😃. Shameless bump for this
A worthy cause, hopefully the song will do well in the charts.
I didn't know the history of the song, thanks. What better way can there be to spend 99p?
Great cause and the vocals are better than the East 17 version - 99p well spent
Excellent !! and an excellent cause.
Three of my acquaintances have lost sons aged 21,24 and 29.
Just a waste.

Bit of a bump up for this; seems to be gaining some decent traction across various social media outlets.
Fantastic
Have to say thay was pretty moving now that I am aware of the context. Through my work I have encountered completion of suicide on many occasions, and it is a traumatic experience for all involved in it. I have seen it destroy both staff and families, and anything that can be done to minimise it is very welcome.
Thanks for sharing.
