Servicing cost for Sinn 903 (eBay listing)

This is currently on eBay with a couple of days to go. Does anyone have an idea of cost for servicing and replacement of the glass as this looks quite marked. I've seen them go for around £2K with service history and paperwork so I would factor the cost in when bidding.

Also is Sinn best placed to do the work or would a UK independent be able to.

    Thanks.

If it needs a replacement glass I would say Sinn are your only option. That said the 903 has AR on the outside and it marks really easily, the plus side is that it is easy to remove with a cape cod cloth. (Done so on mine)
With regard to servicing costs i would guess any competent watch maker can work on it as it’s a 7750 so cost would be around £150-£200 I guess.
I would say if it goes for less than £2000 it’s a bit of a bargain, they are a lovely watch.

    Just checked the listing.
Looks to be the AR coating that is marked. As such I think £2000 or under is a steal!

Yup, just use toothpaste to remove the rest of the AR on the outside of the crystal and the crystal will look better than when it was new.
Auto-chrono servicing is more likely to be £250-300 now

Had my eye on this too!
Bear in mind that a dealer in Innsbruck offered me a new one at a tad over £2500 so imho about 1500-1700 is tops really
Sinn would want 3-400 for service and glass surely?

Thanks all for your sage advice. I've set my maximum bid on this item so will just bide my time until it ends.

It went for a bargain £1,366.

Unfortunately my coffers were drained by an incoming Speedmaster.

Did this go to anyone on here?
