Thread: SODA anyone?

  1. #1

    SODA anyone?

Ordered six months ago and delivered exactly on the date as they promised from USA, impressive.

Case..thinner than expected from original pix..could be my personal perception as they just use the standard case in all current dive watch models
Dial..very basic...I like the old logo
Lume..standard Glycine, i.e. no way better than Seiko
    Hands..no surprise
Xrtal...no sure if there is any coating
Bracelet..thinner than expected from original pix and use pins and collars rather than screws
Crown..as usual but my other Glycine diver engages much better after repair
    Overall..value for money,fair enough...
    Feel...a better made Sandoz!

I was wondering how these were going to turn-out. Seems a lot of watch for the $$, and I probably would have indulged if there'd been a ND version.

I've never owned or seen any of these Combat Subs, but they always look great and this one is no exception.

That looks much better in your photos than the original mockups! Seems like a good watch for the price.
