Saphir - is it the best boot polish?

I'm looking to get a couple of tins of boot polish.
I've had Grenson, Cheaney, Tricker's and of course Kiwi before but never Saphir. I've read a few reviews recommending it for a good shine, is it really better than the others?

    Cheers,
    Adam.

I would say it is better. Have only been using it for a couple of years and only the cream and rejuvenating mink oil. The latter is great.

Saphir Renovateur is brilliant. I only use polish on the heels and toe caps after applying it, as you just don’t need polish all over the shoe. The shine is amazing!

I might give an honorable mention to Collonil products.

I have some good cleaning products and shoe cream (polish) from them.

In another league in terms of leather nourishment as well as shine.

Woly is in a similar league to saphir, I regularly use both.

Saphir makes by far the best shoe care product. I would recommend Renovateur for conditioning the leather, and then a wax polish. They are easy to apply and whole process is quite quick.

Please tell me it'll be fine on top of all the previous polishes and I don't need to strip them back..

    Cheers,
    Adam.

Depends how caked on the polish is. Saphir do a ‘polish stripper’ called Reno Mat that will do the job. Personally, I never cake on the polish, so the renovatuer is enough to clean off what’s on there.

Having read a few posts and watched a couple reviews on YouTube, I’ve decided to give it try.

I’ve just purchased Saphir Medaille D'Or Pate De Luxe Wax Polish 50ml for £6.94 on the Bay.

Now need to decide what brushes to purchase......
