A nice find.
Running well, a little fast, just need to tweak the adjuster hopefully.
Nice little thing, quite early maybe? The dial logo font isn't the familiar logo but the one on the movement is.
I don't know why i buy them, but for a few quid Im happy to do so.
I love the arrow hands.
Cheers..

Blimey Jason thats a late finish on the booty's up your way ! my local ,Ardleigh near Colchester finished last week .
Nice watch is it working ? whats the movement like some nice decoration ?
I did nt find anything on my last outing very slim pickings !
Yes Rob, working well, plain movement but very clean, doesn’t look like it’s been worked on much, all the screw heads are nice and sharp, nice engine turning on the dust cover. ( can’t you see the photos?)
Cheers..

Thats a nice old thing for sure. And reminded me to wind my Smiths Empire pocket watch. No value at all really, and the hour hand broken at some point and soldered together by my father. But it works well and pleases me to see it working!
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.
Cheers guys, I’ve just been looking at a close up of the font of the 12, a work of art!
Cheers..

Cant beat a Car boot , Just to let you know there is a indoor one at Harlow on every Sunday .Just down the M11 for you , I was at the Uxbridge show today otherwise I would have gone there this morning. I dont know what its like , but was going to go there next weekend and check it out .
Nice find Jason, I love those old pocket watches - and they usually go for little money too.
I've given up on the boot sales round here, mostly traders or people selling old clothes and crockery that are not fit for eBay. Sign of the times in a less well off area of higher than average unemployment!
Best Regards - Peter
I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.
