Anyone clued up on Bose headphones and tv Bluetooth?

Having just received a set of Bose noise cancelling headphones for my birthday I would like to connect them to my tv but it doesn't have a Bluetooth function.
Can anyone offer any advice on what adapter to look at, good ones bad ones etc?
Is it as easy as plugging it in and pairing?
    Thanks everyone

What tv have you got? Most Samsungís have Bluetooth built in but you need to enable it via a service menu.

If youíre buying an adapter make sure it supports AptX otherwise latency will be a problem.

Itís a sound encoding codec which supports high quality, low latency audio over Bluetooth. Just make sure itís mentioned in the spec for the adapter. If you donít have it, you will have lip sync issues.

Have ordered one of them, will report back when it's tested.
