Hi looking for advice from the watch/quartz experts.
I will try to keep the story simple.
The watch stopped, I took it to to be checked the battery was OK it was then de magnitised and started to run as it used to.
hooray I thought, it was something simple.
I left it running on my desk for many days, it kept perfect time and never stopped.
however as soon as I wore it it stopped again, I took it off and reset it and it started running perfectly again,that was last week sometime, its still going strong.
At least 2 owners ago it was relumed I do not know by whom nor what they did otherwise.
any ideas,would anyone like to fix it for me as I like the watch,paid of course?
Anyone who demagnetises a quartz watch is an idiot.
Find a decent repairer.
During service demagnetising individual parts is fine, but not the stator, rotor etc.
