    Watchgecko bargain mystery bundle

    Having missed out on the mystery gift pack last time it was in stock I got an email notification it was back in stock.

    So I thought I'd take a punt.

    What I didn't notice (and should have paid more attention) is they added a bargain version with the same logo. Only noticed after I had placed the order. My fault, but I thought ok let's see what turns up.

    So from left to right;
    The 2 PVC straps;
    Semi transparent, and not that nice in terms of colour.
    If honest I'd think they looked nice if I were 5.
    In this case, charity or bin, there's no way I'd put these on any watch, ever.

    The black leather pilot look alike.
    It's ok, doesn't feel that good a quality but looks ok, nothing special.

    Suede tan strap;
    Actually quite nice, not sure which watch it'd suit, but the star of the show.

    Red whatever it is.
    Looks cheap, feels cheap, almost like paper in terms of heft as well.

    Oyster style bracelet with butterfly clasp;
    Looks ok, but nothing special, quality is not bad, but not as good as the premium bracelets watchgecko do.

    Polished mesh;
    Cheap as chips mesh, not as good as the one they have in the sale at £18.

    Cheapest imaginable NATO lookalike;
    Short with nothing but a buckle and loop for the end. Bin / charity again.

    NATO, nothing special, but feels cheaper than the thicker one I bought previously.

    Elastic NATO;
    Maybe just me, but looks pretty cheap, no idea how good it is. From what I've read here they aren't as good as the Erica's. But that being said no idea if it's the same as the other they have in their sale.

    TL:DR
    Pretty crap haul to be honest. Would not recommend at all. I should pay more attention next time ordering.

    Could you share the price otherwise it’s hard to see it in context...

    Sure.

    The bundle was £30.

    I think it's my fault really as I bought the wrong one.

    Hard to be too critical at £3 per strap, but I must say none of them look great.

    Is there any chance you can return for a refund?

    I recently bought 4 of the elastic NATO /MN straps, a bright red rubber Seiko wave type in 22mm and 2 sets of ‘thin Seiko fat bars’ for just over £30, which I’m quite pleased with for the outlay (FYI the one in your pack is the same - used to be £18). I’m the world of watches even your pack seems like a bargain tbh. What do you get Watch wise for £30 in 2019?!

    I bought One of their more expensive Italian Leather straps last year and am very very pleased with it.

    Not worth sending back from NL, it'd cost too much.

    Like I said it's my fault anyway, the gift pack is what I actually wanted, so live and learn.

    As to what to expect, I think I've been a bit spoilt in the past on what you get in mystery bags at New year's in Japan. Picked up an eco drive promaster, a desk clock and some other assorted bits for the equivalent of £60 last year.
