Take it as praise for the quality of your product!

I have a black 40mm and would like the new white expedition, but I’ll wait...

That said, do you have a supplier for that leather strap? Looks great and I want one!

    BW and get well soon.

Picked up the PRS-25 36mm black dial with new rivet bracelet.

I can attest to the popularity of these models as one sold on Sunday on the Ebay/US here in the States for $634.00 for a New black dialed 36mm Everest that they said they ordered out of curiosity. I purchased mine from the source itself and I can attest to its beauty. Thanks Eddie for such high quality products and enjoyment of use. Get well soon.

There's doing well and there's insane gouging! £525 for the expedition is crazy! If it was sold from Eddie at £525 I'd totally understand but considering it's sold second hand and way above retail is really nuts to me. I've never been happy with insane profiteering from watches like the blue alpinist but that's probably just because I like to be money savvy. (Ironic considering I have more watches than anyone needs).

£525 is just crazy compared to Eddie's original selling price but I suppose that means residuals for current owners are higher than expected. I have the 40mm which I really like but find myself hankering for the 36er as a less obtrusive field/everyday watch. Trouble is, I prefer the older bracelet but the newer clasp. Obviously the taper shuts that wish down. Conversely, having a ghost position on the 9015 movement doesn't bother me in the slightest. Sheesh, what a fussy bugger I am...

Get well soon Eddie, not because I want to buy more watches (although I do) but because I wish you well, sir.

Glad I bought mine from Eddie. Thanks Eddie for such a fantastic watch. I love it more each day. Hope you are resting and recovering well.

Pre-owned black dialed 36mm just sold for $680.00. This was the previous version with the Miyota 9015 movement and old style bracelet. The seller had purchased the new rivet bracelet and included that in the auction. I don't care what people are selling them for, I am not parting ways with mine until I pass it on to my oldest son. Yes it is that good of a watch.

If anyone has the 9039 version that they'd like to move without eBay, I will be on the lookout on the Want to Buy sub. I'm happy to wait for Eddie to return to full health otherwise, and will not be participating in an eBay bidding war to obtain the Christmas present for myself :)

It really is that good. You will just have to wait until Eddie gets back on his feet, but trust me it will be worth the wait. I love mine and wouldn't sell it for anything.

    Everests doing well on eBay

Great watch but double the retail? Well good luck to them I suppose. And shows what a good product it is.

Just saw a Everest PRS-25 36mm black dial with the miyota 9015 and old bracelet that was bought in July of 2019 go for $600.00 on ebay with a Buy it now. Now that Eddie is back to work people will stop gouging people and they can buy direct for the actual retail price. They sure are great watches and I can understand the demand for them.

The last few that I have seen listed have all been 36mm, haven't seen too many 40mm ones listed recently.

Several Everest and some Precista's among other masterpieces from Eddie for sale. Some are still using the TimeFactors being closed (which is false because Eddie will be open this Sunday the 6th of February at 1400 hrs.) indefinitely as a reason for their high price. One guy is selling his PRS 29 Air Ministry for 460 GBP for a used piece. Just don't understand these sellers, but I guess if someone will buy them without doing their research as to the store actually being closed then that is on them. Eddies watches are really that good!!!!

    Bit of information needed please

Can anyone please advise the diameter of the spring bars on the Everest PR25 please. I have just put a leather strap on and would like a spare set. My Vernier calipers are in a lock up as we are in between houses. Also is there any benefit in getting say a 17-23 mm as compared to a simple 20 mm. Apologies for the seemingly simple questions

    Thanks in advance

    Steve

Lug width on the Everest PRS-25 is 20mm which means you will need 20mm springbars. Shouldered or non-shouldered will work since the lugs are drilled. Hope this will help.

I ordered more in December for delivery in March but the Coronavirus scare has put everything back at least a month.
