I do really, really appreciate the detail the articles go in to. Huge amount of patience to not only disassemble the watches, but also photograph them so cleanly an clearly.

With the right tools, any skilled watchmaker well versed in various complications is capable of taking most watches apart.
When taking any strange watch apart, the digital camera is the best tool in the box! Lots of nice macro pictures..........and don’t lose any parts!
Keep parts in the order you took them out.
I would have a box full of buts and pieces after taking one of those apart and attempting to put it back together lol

You're not alone there! haha. Im just not a practical hands on person. I mean i struggle assembling flat pack furniture!
