First attempts with some bad ass binoculars.

    Looking good
I've a couple shot with a 200mm lens that aren't too bad, will see if I can find them. I really need to get the right camera adaptor for the Questar sorted out and have a play with that.

Took this with my 100-400mm zoom plus 1.4 time converter

Hand held and pleased with the result.
    Best Regards - Peter

I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.

Here are some of my efforts taken with Canon dslr, 400mm lens and 2x converter. The first two are our moon (obviously!). The third is Jupiter and moons. The last is the clearest pic I could get of Jupiter. If you look closely you can make out some of the cloud rings. I was quite excited by this. I am looking to get a telescope but keep spending my savings on watches!

WRT Jupiter - it it weren't so bright, and so close (angle wise) to it's main moons, you be able to see the moons with your naked eye.

Is that just a long lens, no telescope? Amazing pics in this thread.
