I like these also the case, dial, bracelet etc can all be purchased off EBay and then you just need the Lemania movement and someone to build it for a fraction of the cost.

I've been keeping an eye out on Sales Corner for an original Orfina Porsche Design for a while, but nothing has come up recently. Anyway, just noticed that Porsche Design has re-issued it! Looks fantastic, only slight issue is the circa £4,000 price tag...
Anyway, in case anyone's interested: https://www.porsche-design.com/en/Ti...d-Edition.html

7750 movement and 44mm case. They ruined it, in other words
Didn’t they do them with the 7750 and the 5100...?

First time I'm seeing a promo picture of a watch with the hands blocking the name. ORSHE DESIGN.
I’m quite a fan of the early Porsche design stuff, especially the Ocean 2000 and the Lemania 5100 based chronos. I suppose this is an OK thing, but for north of €4000 it makes absolutely no sense to me. Get an original.
Insane amount of money.I will stick with My Le Jour.
This is very much like the original early 1970s (7750) version with a chamfered surround to the crystal, whereas the Lemania version (1978 onwards) had a bull-nosed profile to the case surrounding the crystal.
Personally I prefer the Lemania version, but if you like this, then even the later Eterna Re-issues will be very similar and a fraction of the cost.
The black pd chrono is a true design classic, I think

Looks good but pretty spenny. I wish IWC would do a re-issue/update of their Porsche back catalogue - they were some absolute belters.

I've not seen the date shortened to two letters before - I quite like that difference over the usual 7750 D/D offerings.
Agree with previous posters though - at this price point, the originals are within reach and to me, also more appealing.
If only it had a zero before the single date numbers. the Monday 8th there would have looked pretty funny.
Why? It's a great looking watch!
