    Black Friday watch deals

Does anybody usually do any black Friday deals? Anybody know of some deals that are coming? Thought it might be handy to have a thread to share any deals you see.

I can't seem to shake a desire for some thing green and diver and after taking to long to decide and missing both the LE prospex 62MAS re-release/homage that were on SC, I may go for a new sumo if I saw a deal. Could be tempted by a green Oris aquis too.... Or something else, who knows.

Jeez, another Seiko to consider! In only just learning on Seiko (partly why I took so long to consider the 2 in SC)
First reaction though is the dial doesn't pop or so anything for me. Then looking at the specs... Nice movement but the sumo is better. Both watches are probably way too large tbh... I'd prefer 40-42.

It's it my poor Google Fu or are many of the nice Seiko not readily available in the uk? The J suffix means Japan only? Seems strange.

A Green Seiko you say, surely there's only one and just short of 40mm so not huge.

Still available at shopping in Japan and Gnomon - but VAT to factor in as well.

Will be nice if Jura do, but with the sumo being new I suspect it wouldn't be included in any sales... Maybe though

Wasn't really planning on anymore purchases this year.....but if something jumps out in a BF deal I'll probably cave in.

A good size if you like bigger watches, but does not wear huge, usual quartz accuracy, makes a great beater for the money, all in I really like it.

Saw this offer in their window last month, I did wonder whether they were losing their AD status.

I see Jura have a pre Black Friday sale with some sort of price match if they reduce further.

Some Grand Seiko models added at 25% off AND IFC!

For example the Spring Drive Diver which I have always admired.

There are some really lovely watches on there - the Globemaster blue dial is my favourite.
A Speedy Pro big box for 3.2k is also pretty impressive for retail.

This might appeal to someone out there?

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/Garmin-Inst.../dp/B07HYX9P88

The Garmin Instinct is a GPS tracker / sports watch that takes design cues from the G-Shock.

I actually bought mine from Amazon last night, before the deal kicked in. It was only about £1 more expensive than it is now, to be fair. But at £188.00 (the price as I type) I think it's good value.

I'll be using this as a cycling and generic holiday watch.

What I really wanted originally was the GPS Casio Rangeman, but when I found out that it wasn't possible to export recorded tracks out of Casio's own ecosphere (eg to Strava), that was a showstopper. This one has most of the features at substantially lower cost. It doesn't have solar power like the Rangeman. That would have been nice for keeping the power topped up on a windowsill between rides.

Is there any issue with buying an Omega from the Watts 1858 store if they aren't going to be an authorised dealer anymore?

Also would the Omega boutique resize the bracelet?

Something this expensive i'd rather someome a bit more competent than myself do it.

    Cheers in advance

No issue at all as the warranty is with Omega not Watts 1858. I suspect Watts 1858 would resize the bracelet if you gave them your wrist size. Alternatively, an Omega boutique will do it.

Please do not post any G-Shock black Friday deals, for the sanity of Laura.

Andrea from Martu Straps tells me she has a special offer on for Black Friday.
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.
