Rather more prosaically, this should link to Timex's "VIP" pre-BF sale, cookies notwithstanding...

Yes Beaverbrooks agreed a price match with me when it was 20% and I was looking at the Sedna/Steel Seamaster 300 but I realised I was buying for the discount, not because I wanted any of the stuff on sale.

When it then went to 33% they got cold feet and pulled the price match saying it didn't qualify as Watts 1858 were no longer an AD able to order any more stock. Truth be told I think they just didn't fancy losing that much margin and I can understand it. I didn't push it as OB has been very good to me on the Speedy LE side of things which is where my Omega interests lie.

If anyone here is still hankering after or on the fence about the Zenith Chronometro Tipo then they might want to look here

    https://www.beaverbrooks.co.uk/01050...h-Mens-Watch/p

35% off in the Black Friday further reductions deal and IFC over 24 months. They have one only, I know because I was in conversation re condition and came within a whisker of grabbing it before giving my head a wobble and accepting I cannot wear all the pieces I currently have.

What's being able to order more stock got to do with anything? Either they're an AD of they're not. If they weren't willing to match the full 33% they could have made an offer.

I fully agree there is a whiff of BS about this. They weren't looking to compromise, the price match was withdrawn completely.

Apparently, due to the far reaching power of this forum quite a few branches had been getting price match enquiries against this deal around the country. I suspect the issue has then been booted upstairs for a Suit to say "No Deal"

Beaverbrooks honoured the 20% price match on the standard seamaster on bracelet.

The guy was surprised it had gotten through head office when I collected, but I'm certainly not complaining!!!

Watts was still on Omega's AD list yesterday when I checked.

    Good evening,

This is my first post on here but I’ve been a long time browser.

I’d like to say thanks for pointing me in the direction of the Watts Omega sale. I’ve long admired the Seamaster but felt it was more money than I could justify on a watch.
Recently, I came into a small inheritance and decided I was going to use some of it to treat myself... and here it is. Bought for the princely sum of £3335.

    Once again, thanks.

Imagine how much companies pay for that kind of advertising and that's before you think about how many actually bought rather than just looked.

Petay 993 definitely deserves a kick back from those sales!

I’d like to add that the customer service from Watts was very good, I was a little nervous about spending that amount online but they kept me updated via email every step of the way.

Glad to see genuine watch enthusiasts grabbing some fine deals.

Thought it was time to get myself involved so spoke with Watts today and they have done me a very sweet deal on the last Trilogy Railmaster, heading down to check it over with a view to picking up tomorrow

LIV watches have between 25% and 50% off of everything in their range for those who enjoy something a little unconventional.

I was on the fence about a new seamaster in rubber at the forums new favourite AD but bottled out. Mainly because I fancy a new 2019 superocean or Black Bay burgundy.

Don’t suppose any tz-ers have spotted a fantastic deal on either of those have they?

Best deal you will get on either of those is second hand. Ernest Jones might be the most able to talk price on both. Meanwhile Fraser Hart in Brent Cross are still (deliberately) showing the entire Tudor range at the old RRP as a closing tool.

Seriously tempted by the Nomos Club offer plus further 5% cash back through Quidco. If only the Oris 65 with numerals was blue.

The other half would kill me if I pressed purchase!

This is why I have a separate "expenses" (WATCH) account at a different sort code.

Try it, save a lot of grief!!

I want one of the new Ti G-shocks. If anyone finds a decent Black Fri code to get the camo let me know! The Uk retail price is simply mental!

They were never going to hang around tbf.

In fact the whole Tudor listing page has taken a proper hammering!

Well, just bought a Planet Ocean from Watchfinder in their sale at a price I was very happy with. It's the first time I have ever dealt with them and tbh seemed to be pretty great so far.

All questions answered and a 14 day no quibble return policy - hopefully delivery and the watch itself are as good as the service I've had so far. Fingers crossed!

Agreed - Never used them before but picked up a black bay at a decent price!
