    Beware: Ride-sharing watch thefts

Just saw a video on Instagram which has since been deleted but I managed to download a copy and it's attached below. It was originally from @patekaholic if you follow the account.

It looks like a rogue driver (or drivers) from a well known ride sharing app size you up when you're getting in the car and if you have a nice watch they text a gang your address. Once at your home dropping you off they put on their hazards to alert the gang and then you get robbed of your watch going into your home.

The same has happened at least two other times in Herefordshire and Stevenage. Presumably the long distance is good as it allows the driver to go slow and give the gang a amount of time to get there.

    Be careful.

Makes my blood boil! The amount of stuff you read about ride sharing app drivers getting up to... They are tracked but I guess linking them to crimes like this is not easy.

Should be very easy shouldn’t it?

If they’re texting these accomplices then it’s bang to rights surely. I’d imagine it’s not the driver’s first rodeo so a bit of 1st grade detective work and it’s done.

Bloody shocking, the lengths these scum bags will go to. I wish someone would set a scam up to catch these scum at it, then beat the fu&k out of them
