    My wife wants a Seiko

My wife wants me to buy her a Seiko watch for Christmas this year so can anyone please tell me the best place to source one these days? It's a long time since I've bought a watch through the normal retail channels so any help where to get one for her would be much appreciated..

If you have nothing specific in mind I would google Seiko retailers in the UK as you would have to factor in 20% vat and couriers fees for anything bought outside the EU which can push up the price. Only worth doing that if you are after something specific that is not available here.

I've used Creation Watches before for JDM stuff, and had no issues.

Yeah unless there’s a specific JDM model you’re after then stick with U.K. retailers. You can get some nice ladies Seiko’s in Amazon for about £100. If you’re wanting to go higher up the Seiko food chain Jura watches do ladies Seiko Presage:

Much depends on the movent. If you want automatic you'll struggle to find it on the high street, most will be quartz or solar (which will arguably be a better bet anyway).

The Watch Shop, Jura, Francis & Gaye are pretty good, Simpkins Jewellers are also good:

Because I live a very long way from a dealer and I'm disabled, otherwise I might just have thought of doing that

Id try JURA watches - they are very good and normally some sort of discount code online - they will also price match for you.

This, seen some good displays of Seiko around with plenty of variations to choose from.
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.

Go vintage - a vintage mans model is a good size for ladies these days, plus you might be able to find one from the month and year she was born.
