Just a great looking watch, with a great movement.
I picked this up on Saturday from a shop called AMJ Watches Newark, they were the closest to me that had the exact watch and bracelet combination in i wanted. Ive seen them all over FB advertising. Knowledgeable guys, could have spoke watches with them all day long. They also gave me a free watch winder which i thought was a nice touch although i was hoping for a cap for holidays!
I think this watch can be quite polarising but i have wanted one since i seen it released earlier this year at Basel.
The proportions, colour contrast, weight and functionallity are all great imo. I think its really versatile in that you can wear it with jeans as easy as you could a suit and to be honest i absolutely love a chronograph dial. For a few years I've been wearing watches that i lusted after but they just didn't tick all the boxes, this one ticked all the boxes as soon as i tried it on although at first i could only try it in the strap versions at my local AD's.
I personally think that the Tudor Black Bay S&G Chrono combines heritage look with technology of the modified B01 movement perfectly. Ok at some points during the day the snow flake hands cover the chrono dials but id rather those hands than button type hands and see the sub dials.
I didn't used to have a high opinion of Tudor but like many that's changed over the last 3-4 years. I think its a brand i will definitely be buying more from.
When there is decent light (July 2020!!) i'll grab some better pics but here's a couple of iPhone pics and the red mark on my hand is not from the watch.
Just a great looking watch, with a great movement.
It's just a matter of time...
Stunning, I have to say I think Tudor are possibly my favourite brand now for the looks and value...

Can’t beat a two register chrono with a date at six, it’s a beaut!

Fantastic. I’m in the huge fan camp! I’ve loved it since I first set eyes on it and find the combination of Tudor quality vs. acceptable price even more appealing. I do have a bit of a ‘thing’ for the BB range though...
Somewhat unbelievably, I was trying one on yesterday. On the leather which was really comfortable. Absolutely loved it and have tentatively asked my AD to get hold of one on the bracelet for me, as I always feel a watch is missing something if it’s available on both but missing the metal bit around your wrist. Big step up in price mind you.
So, congratulations. I’m proper jealous

Thanks guys, I am going to order the leather strap and deployment, everyone needs more than one pair of shoes😉
