Beautiful image, Martyn! The camera on the latest iPhones seem amazing (I have an old iPhone but even that isn’t too bad)

Stunning photogragph. It's amazing how good the cameras are on the latest phones. I have a Nikon D500 that only really gets used now for wildlife photography and on a few other occasions as it can accommodate powerful lenses. For all other occasions my iPhone X fits the bill.

That is very impressive. Has there been any editing done and how does it look on a computer screen. Is there much loss of definition due to the relatively small pixel count compared to a dslr?

For that image I did some in snapseed in the phone - very easy program to use. It looks amazing on a computer screen - I may have to get it printed!

The Iphone has a fairly impressive pixel count the image size is: 4032x2268 - here is a link to the unedited version:

Thank you for your detailed reply. It is an excellent photo. I will consider the iPhone when it is time to replace my Galaxy S8. It takes good photos but not as good quality as yours. The focus never seems sharp enough. Very impressive and thanks for posting.
Just to add, your editing skills are very good!
