Please avoid CG, their record with animal cruelty is absolutely horrendous. Thousands upon thousands inhumanely trapped and killed each year just to make coats.

Ordered one yesterday off the back of your recommendation, I'll let you know how I get on - yesterday was a particularly chilly commute home.

Also considered this one from Finisterre.

Winter Hat for the Follically Challenged

The finisterre looks good too. I am sure you’ll be pleased with your choice. I had mine last year and have already started wearing it this year.

From M&S I picked up a Borg baseball cap with ear flaps for £25. It gives protection to the neck as well. With receding hair, this helps to keep warm. Very happy with it.

As if by magic my PDW turned up not long after my last post and I love it already. Feels great, is well made of good quality materials and fits a treat under the hood of the Arc'teryx jacket I've been wearing recently.

Also bought myself a pair of Sealskinz gloves to complete the look. The only issue that I've got now is that due to weight loss I could be in the market for a new jacket...when will it ever end!?!?

Well you could go with the latest Gang wear styling

But I wear one of these it keeps the ears warm as well as the head

Agree with this totally. They’re also taking the rise with that pricing.

No but sometimes I'd be forgiven for thinking I did, the Catabian winds on platform 11 at Clapham Junction the other day were pretty icey
