Fortis MarineMaster Watch Kit on eBay

Didn't know such things existed - Fortis watch kit

    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FORTIS-MA...duOhC&LH_BIN=1

The complete watch costs £1k+, so if someone knows what they're doing, they could build the kit watch for much cheaper.

I'm pretty sure all these Fortis Marinemaster's are fake.

Look at the dial logo and printing. I'm not an expert but it looks wrong to me.

Yeah these are well known and I think the most faked Super Compressor out there.

Fortis MarineMaster Watch Kit on eBay

Look at the other items for sale, he has lots of “kits” and other vintage Seiko, Orient batched up lots, even has some Audemars and Piaget movements for £7.5k.

Looks dodgy to me especially so much old stuff that is like new and sold as parts..

Seems a couple buyers in the last month think he is selling fake goods, also responds with calling people who question him coconuts!

I bought a Marinemaster quite a few years ago but remember that when I was looking around, there was some controversy about the original model and a later model which Fortis had made from parts they had from old stock. Another second hand watch minefield, seemingly.

Is he buying fakes, stripping them, and selling them as "kits" in an attempt to hide their fakieness?
