Folks
As always happens, my son has pinged me to say that the boiler has failed.
I'm travelling this week, and can't go over to get it sorted.
Can anyone recommend a reliable, trustworthy gas boiler repair engineer in the Liverpool area, please.
The boiler is a three year old Biasi Riva Plus HE 24c combi - it got good reliability ratings at the time.
The error codes point to a failed air pressure sensor, fan or potentially the control board.
Any recommendations would be most welcome.
Thanks !
Is the fan running and if so is it running smoothly or maybe noisier than normal? If the fan is running smoothly then it could point to the pressure switch.
The fan in my boiler went last week, started out as a front knocking sound which could only be heard outside by the flue to a complete racket a month or 2 later. Replaced it and the boiler is back in action. After the fan I would have replaced the pressure switch next.
