    Watches for around 500-900

    Hi all

I have a friend that’s looking for a watch within that budget. Any suggestions? I was thinking Hamilton, but can’t think of many brands other than that. Possibly Stowa?

    All suggestions welcome.

    Cheers

Can't go wrong with a Seiko, plenty of choice from dress watches to divers etc.

    Glycine Airman.

    Laco aswell from me.

Could get a discount and add a couple of hundred to go to Longines.

Already showed him, and that’s an option he is considering.

Oris ProPilot is about £150 over your budget but you should be able to get it for £900.

Or Smith Everest, which I'm wearing as I write this. I decided against the Oris as it's too big for me, but lovely watch.

Longines Conquest V.H.P. 41mm Stainless Steel Bracelet Watch Blue Dial.

£780 RRP I think and quite nice IMO.

    Cheers,
    Adam.

    Hamilton, Seiko, Longines...

Personally I'd go for Seikos...plenty of choice and superb value-for-money.

Good call. I do wish they’d offer this in 38 or 39mm.

This is nice. I’ll show it to him.

Also told him about Sinn and the 556 A has been on my radar. Think it looks great on rubber.

Thanks a lot for all the suggestions!

He could pick up a second hand Grand Seiko quartz for that budget.

Lum-Tec (mainly because I quite fancy the M82)?

I would certainly point him to Eddie's Site.
At the top end of the budget the Dreadnought Voyager is hard to beat as a GMT.
Chronograph? Paolo Fanton's A-13A. Nothing better in the price range, imho.
Dive watch? Back to Eddie - PRS82.

Thanks all. I went through the posts with him today and he made a list. So he has a lot of research to do over the weekend! Will update with what he went for.

Would be this for me as well. Thinking about selling a few of my collection to purchase a SPB077.

    Eu690

for me, I’d go for one of the recently reintroduced Ollech&Wajs pilot or divers watches
