    I caught it and thought it was a fairly balanced but, inevitably, light-touch piece. Only comment I baulked at was the 'investment' one; they clearly edited out the 'if you're lucky...' qualification that must have followed.

    Why?
    Making money out of watches (anything) can be deliberate and easy. No luck involved.
    Here's how you do it.
    Have a decent amount to invest.
    Buy the most desirable stuff you can afford.
    At the right time (hoho) sell it for a lot more.
    Repeat.

    Yes I thought that when I heard it - it did allow an enthusiast or two to at least put the case and whilst I would never consider my watches an investment it is probably easier to "get lucky" than with cars etc.
