When you look long into an abyss, the abyss looks long into you.........
Here’s a better image that shows just how green it is...

Fantastic looking watch. Look forward to seeing some real world pics....please do that Hasan. Is it Boutique only or/and on line at Panerai.com?
Tempting...
Like that a lot. Very tempting.
Wonderful. Aggressive.

That model is online only, too bad they don’t use P900x movt, this model use P900 movt which is Richemont movt (B&M movement with small second and lower PR)
Congrats!
I was super tempted - I'm such a fan of the 42mm submersible. However, I'm wondering if there's a blue- or even white-dialled version in the pipeline. Panerai seems to have put a lot of focus of the 42mm sub, so I'm optimistically hoping for some other new models.

It seems prety expensive to me
Oh yes that’s nice and none of that “Harrods” none sense!

Here’s what I want next - a white Panerai 42mm sub

Yes, I missed it was on line purchase only so not for the Boutiques.
I also thought it was a "little" trumpy at £7,500 for a 42mm Sub but IF it holds its value (given 400 for the world market and 100 for the USA) it could be a decent purchase. Anyone else got a view on the price/value retention please? Thanks
Personally haven’t seen any 42mm Panerai that has retained value well.
It’s difficult to predict the future value of this one, but I was specifically looking for a weekend/casual/holiday watch. I had been looking for a few months at older submersibles. Having owned a huge 47mm sub (Pam307) they are really big and heavy.
I love the new 968 ‘Brownzo” but don’t want to pay the premium.
So when this was announced yesterday, it was perfect for me as I wanted a submersible in a more manageable size and it has the green dial too.
From what I’ve heard, it’s for the US, UK and China only. 100 are earmarked for the UK.
I pick it up from the London boutique on Friday so will take photos!
Thanks for posting Hasan and I really look forward to your pictures on Friday.
So the buying process is that you order (and pay?) on line but collect it in the Boutique yes? What happens if once you're there and see it/wear it and don't feel it's quite what you expected as you are (perhaps) buying blind here? What's your source for the number split worldwide please? I've only read so far that it is 400 for the World (breakdown unknown) and the remaining 100 for the USA, thus making 500 in total.
Wish it was 44mm if I am honest but hey, can't have it all and I love the style/colour ways of this for a perfect summer/holiday watch.
I initially tried to buy online but the website froze near the payment stage so I called the UK concierge number.
So he took the order from scratch.
You can request a home delivery or boutique pick up. I preferred the boutique as then there are no issues with delivery etc.
You can still not buy if it’s not for you when you collect it. (14 days I believe)
The allocation was mentioned on the phone. I think he said that 100 were coming to the UK.
The HODINKEE article mentions the US, UK and China.
Great review with real world photos here:

Loving the green, wish they did this in a 44mm. Look forward to seeing a review once you've picked the watch up.

Green dials are a big turn off for me and the strap looks like it belongs on a kids 'Action Man watch'.
No.
I like it but wouldn't have it. Its a bit too manly man coloured and I like the 47mms anyway. Also when I first saw it I wasn't fully concentrating and misread it as merde militare. So thats stuck now.
I appreciate the photo. If close to 6.75”, then that’s confirmed it’s not for me (looks too big). The Radiomir it is then...
I love the colour of the dial but do not like the colour of the strap, even though they are the same colour
Exactly, I bought a couple yesterday and love mixing it up. Not my daily but for the weekend it’s a nice change
