OK ,been missing one of these and decided to go for it.The brand and this model has its knockers but the minuses are soon forgotten when wearing it.Although the outer box has changed and the driver is an extra I think? It goes with my 372 very nicely, excuse my very poor pics

Congrats. I like the simplicity of this model, and you can change the look by adding a few sassy straps.

What’s controversial about it? It looks great, enjoy your new watch.

    Nice watch.
Nothing controversial about it. Some people are habitual naysayers.

I don't necessarily like the direction that Panerai has gone, it may have been controversial at the time, but today it is what it is and I wouldn't say controversial anymore.

My gripe is the WR and snap caseback, however non sandwich dials have always had a place in the Panerai line up and no wrong choice if you prefer the painted dial.

Enjoy the watch, I think the 45mm Rads are a supremely comfortable watch!

Ah ok I see, I was looking at the same style watch myself so I certainly like it.

Lovely watch - simple design and iconic. Great strap choice too. Do share more photos once you’ve broken it in!

I still can't decide whether I like the Radiomirs, the thing that always drew me into Panerai was the crown guard because it was so different to anything else.

I really wish someone would buy the Black Seal on SC because I keep looking at it and thinking should I try one!

Congratulations with the incoming though, nothing controversial and a lovely looking watch regardless.

Press fit caseback and 100m w/r and non sandwich dial . 100m doesn’t bother me as it will never see water ,pushfit is a shame but not noticed when worn and dial fine

The 45mm Rads are immensely wearable, more comfortable and practical than the 44mm Luminors (I have both). I also prefer the wire lugs to the 1940 Rad variants too.

I owned a Black Seal specifically for many years before upgrading to a 190, and though the latter is a gorgeous watch the slimmer profile means I would be entirely happy with the standard Black Seal.
