That actually looks really good, I am not keen on the aged leather either I am looking at the BB41 with the brushed TT going for it on the bracelet and I can then decide to switch with a SS or NATO’s.
So Saturday started with a little disappointment
I missed the harrods black bay by a couple of minutes
But hey theres always the rugby !!
Wops that went wrong
Son says theres a parcel for you
What could it be i thought
Light bulb goes on it must be the black bay bracelet i bought from shoppy on this very forum
I had my black bay s and g for Christmas from my wife
It came on a leather strap which i soon tired of
For me tudors leather straps are really not that good
So i bought the everest rubber strap and loved the watch again
But then i kept thinking what it would look like on a bracelet
Contacted local ad they contacted rolex
And they would not supply the bracelet to go on my s and g
It was not correct for the watch
So thanks to tz forum i bought on and here it is
Im really pleased with it
I liked the 58 but prefer bigger watches
So its like a 58 on steroids

Great result, I like the 58 but wasn't sold on the gold bezel numbers when I saw it in the flesh. This seems the best of both (if you can wear the 41mm!) - Congrats!
Looks good! Out of interest, what do you find most comfortable to wear - the strap, bracelet or the rubber? Im thinking about getting a rubber strap for my BBB but wondering if it’s a suitable ‘daily wear’ strap

I think the usual contenders for Black Bay rubber straps (in descending order of price) are Rubber B, Everest, Vanguard and Crafter Blue.
I’d like to use the deployment clasp on it, so I think that narrows it straight down to Rubber B. I was going to grab one but have been slightly put off as I recently bought another ‘decent’ rubber strap (Bremont Temple Island) for another watch but am not quite getting on with it as it’s still pretty stiff (hence my question re the Everest strap comfort).

Looking forward to when either Everest or Rubber B release a strap for the BB58.
The surprising thing about the S&G is that it seems to look good on any strap or bracelet, all steel or two-tone.
It can dress down to be barely distinguishable from a standard BB, or go full bling.
It's a real chameleon!
Think one of them had a register your interest on their site.
