Best and best selling are not necessarily the same thing!

Anyway, 30 years later and they have finally released a steel version - or something like it.

Yes, but ten times more expensive than the F-91W, in that segment better, a Seiko.

I don't think there is a similar LCD watch at a similar price in the Seiko range. I have one of these:

though mine is the gold finish version. I think it was probably roughly the same price, adjusting for inflation, when new.

The best watch in the world is the one you have on your wrist.

Agreed and the worst watch is the ones I simply can’t afford

Oh my poor ears! You need to rethink your choice of music for the vid. I didn’t manage to get 20 seconds in, let alone the 3mins 30secs to the first appearance of the watch.

I bought one, it arrived a couple of hours ago. The bracelet was an absolute bitch to adjust; I really dislike the design with the L-shaped inserts with the little bump on them at the best of times but this one seemed worse than most. Would have preferred to have had micro-adjustment on the clasp, the old row of holes + spring pin method is very handy. But it does look elegant when it fits.

The polished steel case seems a bit incongruous on a retro LCD, but that's the whole point really. A certain ironic charm. The actual display is very readable with very tidy digits, and I really like the pearlescent surround.
