    Panerai on line sales

In these times of lockdown, has anyone bought direct? Thinking of a 652, to relieve the boredom. Any risks with that? Would be shipping to France, with a U.K. billing address. Yes, I know that I have previously rubbished the brand, but I am in need of a change, and the 652 looks appealing.

I’d buy on a credit card for a bit of extra protection should it go MIA but can’t see any non-virus-related risks otherwise. Have been having a little Panerai-urge myself recently..

I’d guess pretty safe. You’ve got distance selling rules should you want to return but you seem the sort that wouldn’t want to muck the retailer about.

Just buy it. Enjoy it. At a minimum, it’ll give you something new to look at for a few weeks.
