1969 Rolex Submariner valuation advice, please

THIS IS NOT A COVERT SALES POST.

    I have a 1969 Rolex Submariner, serial number 2211xxx, on a 7836 bracelet.

Where can I go for a (reasonably authoritative) valuation, please?

Far too many variables without more info and pics, I would say it should fall somewhere between 10-12k unless it’s had a hard life.

    Thanks, bobdog.

    I've re-phrased the question, because it's not members' opinions I need, but a valuer's.

A dealer who is a member might be useful.

1680 or 5513 massive difference between the two if 1680 puts you in mf red territory

Yep your right Mat, for some reason I had a standard 5513 in my head, must still be in shock after the Rugby.

Totally dependent on originality and condition
An untouched without B&P 5513 could go to 20K
    A mk1 1680 with B&P 40K
Or a 5513 with service everything 6K maybe
    pics would be good

No. A 'whether to sell or keep' valuation.

Haywood Milton (who posted earlier in the thread!) would probably be your best bet. As the old saying goes 'What he doesn't know about Rolex....'
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.

This thread is a waste of time unless the OP tells us exactly what he has and posts a few images and details. B&P, service history, which parts have been replaced, which bracelet, clasp date Code detail etc etc.

He's not looking for the collective opinions of the members here, as he said, he was asking for recommendations for a dealer who would value the watch.
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.

So he has been a member here for 17 years and needs to ask who can put a value on his Rolex.

    Is he having a laugh...

No, I think he asked a genuine question about getting a watch valued. Why does that offend you?

Doesn't offend me in the slightest, but why not just contact a trusted dealer who sells vintage sports Rolex models, might be a good place to start.

Thats his intention, hence the question he asked regarding recommendations of a dealer.

Haywood, Mike Wood, Jason at Sweepinghand all have excellent reputations. There is almost certainly more but it's a start for you.
