    Google to buy Fitbit

I've just received notice that Google are to acquire Fitbit. I have a Fitbit One, which is a clip-on unit. I don't want anything for my wrist, that's reserved for proper watches. I do hope Google consider bringing back this model as it has been very popular.

Paid £2.1bn . I’ve had a Fitbit one for years...discontinued now unfortunately and prices getting silly now for used ones.

My wife and I both have ones. I can't understand why Fitbit discontinued such a great tracker. I'm just hoping my battery lasts a while longer. OS Catalina has caused a few syncing problems and I'm having to use my phone to sync. I can't see this problem being fixed very soon, due to the acquisition.

Interesting read. I'm in the market to update my Fitbit One, which I've had forever. I'll probably go for a Fitbit Inspire as there are third party clip housings you can use and not need to wear it on the wrist. At £65 outlay I can take the risk of it lasting me long enough for my needs.
