    A Walk around Amsterdam

So a trip to Amsterdam, lovely city and some watch porn as well, quite a few grey dealers and vintage watch shops but with some eye watering prices

Of course no sports in the AD’s

Usual fair of bi metal and some steel DJ’s and Oyster peps

But the vintage has some cracking pieces around if your wallet can stretch that far

Saw a few 18k Skydwellers with Arabic numerals, they look lovely

    Some nice 40mm Pam’s

£23k for the 1680 red, ouch

    Dave

Ha no. With the kids this time around, although my 9 yr old daughter asking me ‘what that smell is?’ Every time we pass one

Did you go to Amsterdam Vintage Watches? I have bought from them before and looks like a great store.

The vintage in the pics are from their window

I did pop in. Stunning stock

Also today I found Xupes pop up shop in De Bijenkorf dept store at Dam near the Palace

    https://www.debijenkorf.nl/xupes-horloges-pop-up

They had a raft of serious kit, a 300k RM, loads of 16710’s, 1675s

    Zenith Daytona’s

    Double reds

They weren’t keen on pics but more than happy to get the stuff out of the cabinet and let you try them on

Love that red sub, is that expensive?
Not sure where the prices are now on these, have they increased like the modern Rolex hype?

£23k full set. So not horrendous given I’ve seen just a red sub with no papers at more than that

But very strong prices on nearly everything else

£8.5k for a full set 14060 seemed very expensive to me

But what do I know, can’t keep up with Rolex prices anymore
