PSA Breitling Aerospace Evo Night Mission bargain

    https://www.beaverbrooks.co.uk/00122...m-Mens-Watch/p

That's a bargain for a soon to be discontinued watch and IMHO the best version of it.

Damn! Didn’t need that Ryan! 😛 Been lusting after one of these for months, couldn’t say no. Now, what to sell to pay for it!

Sure RJM25R (Rick) has one of these for sale at just over £2k? If you want one, save even more.

No they are not. They are only discontinuing other cheaper quartz versions like colt etc. The professional instruments series will continue.

That's the 2nd time I've read that in a week on the forum here.... but I couldn't find any chat of it online.

What's the story / source of this Ryan? Is it a case that the Evo model is due an upgrade? Surely the aerospace has been on the go for so long, it'll just be a model upgrade?

Mind you.... it's an old skool 'smart watch' with out of date tech by today's standards. ... so it could be true.

Absolutely no evidence of it at all and it is still on the website, unless they are looking at an upgrade which would surprise me given how perfect the watch is now.

I heard it from the New Bond St store. They had none in stock and heard the Aero was being discontinued. Sad as they said it was their most popular model.

Reason I ask for confirmation is that I have seen the Aerospace start to disappear from online (grey) dealers’ websites (although it is still present on Breitling’s (or was the last time I looked).

Always had a vague notion to get one of the blue dialled ones on the blue rubber strap for holiday watch duties. The WR has always put me off.

It’s always been an important, genuinely “professional” watch and I’ll be sorry to see it canned. As an aside, I never forgave Swatch for discontinuing the quartz Bond Seamaster in Omega’s Rolex-chasing trek upmarket, and if Breitling are doing the same it’s a real pity.

I've worn nothing else since getting my Avantage in the summer there..... but... this will increase my anxiety over service costs that can be ridiculous, especially if a digi function fails.

Still.... I love the watch and will take my chances for now...

Showing as out of stock. Shame, it's a really nice looking piece.

I may or may not of got one of these from Ernest Jones sale with an extra 10% off today. There was a mix up on the order but with a bit of luck the right order is still live. I will just have to stash it away somewhere for 6months as I promised the misses no new watches for a while. But could not resist another of Breitlings icons.

Managed to get an Omega X33 Skywalker from EJ for £2300 today which I'm fairly confident is bargain-tastic seeing as RRP is £4260!

Discount plus paid with vouchers which were 20% off themselves. Bonnet de douche Rodney

I just think it's a stock shortage. My AD also said it was their most popular model. Maybe AD'S would prefer to say it's discontinued rather than have grey dealers start to charge ridiculous prices?

Breitling would be aware of what is happening in the Rolex world and probably want to avoid that.

It's still showing on the Breitling web page as a current and available model.

That may be, but ask an AD to order a new one in from Breitling UK and that won't be able to, and will tell you they are discontinued.

Bond street boutique, Bicester Store and local AD are all reporting the same story on that one. The website is often well out of date.

If you call Breitling UK they will confirm it directly.

Looks like the ADs have been ordered to fire-sale the last of the stock. There are still a few around but most have sold off the regular ADs during recent sales it seems. It will be interesting to see what Breitling have in store to replace it..

Beaverbrooks do some great discounts. I've bought a Z-33 and Globemaster at ~35% off in the past.

Was tempted by this one but glad it's sold out!

It seems ridiculous to discontinue the most popular watch, so are all aerospace models being discontinued, or just black titanium?

Hi Ryan, do you have any further info on when? The fact the last few around are being fire sold is a good sign!

That’s good news, would love them to make some serious improvements, louder alarm, increased WR to 200m and maybe something similar to the Night Mission with a bracelet option, rechargeable like the B50/B55’s - doesn’t need to get any bigger IMHO.

B@gger this. The order says OrderDelivered - but nothing has turned up at postal address not even a calling card. It was posted using DX delivery service. Seems that service has terrible reputation. Customer Services not open at weekends. Emails sent - nothing can do until Monday.

Ouch! Know the frustration. Some of these courier companies seem to think it’s ok to deliver to a “neighbor” or anyone within a 1 mile radius of your front door! Hope it gets sorted.

How long do batteries last on these?
    Are the canvas straps comfortable?

From memory they have a 5 year battery life.
The strap is extremely comfortable (for me) but did take a bit of getting used to as it’s not your usual deployant. I find the whole package a joy to wear, as it’s so light. Size for me is spot on as well.

After spending 58mins yesterday in a queue !!! waiting for Customer Services for EJ: Watch delivery never happened apparently. Mix up - the watch never reaches the delivery service - their order tracking system was updated wrongly. Watch is out for delivery today.

I left some appropriate feedback on their automated survey.

The Night Mission is top of my want list at the moment, such a great iteration of the Aerospace - it's a good job I missed the PSA as I'm in the process of moving and saving for a wedding, not a good time to be splashing out!!

Well done to the guys who picked them on sale, great price!
