It’s very nice indeed. I love the case back.

How do you actually tell the time?
I think it's a reference to offbeat playing or compound time signatures, but it's stumped me.

Very nice indeed, but Oris don't half carry heavy residuals. I had one of their limited editions a while back that had a RRP of £2k, but within months they were trading for half that.

I understand the 8 drum claws as indices but you'd have to be really into your drums/drummers for that not to get annoying after a while.

You ignore them and work it out based on where the big hand and little hand are pointing relative to the rest of the watch.

(or you look at your phone like everyone else these days)

    “I’ll get you Butler!”

Think I’d wear it inside out and use a phone for the time. Or, having just seen the price, perhaps not.

I’m with you on this. Vintage snare drums will have 8 claws for the 8 lugs which is fine for authenticity but maybe a claw at each hour marker might have been more user friendly. Most modern snare drums have 10 lugs which wouldn’t work either but at least with 12 it is far more legible for actually telling the time.

If you want a watch with a cymbal as a face then get a Corum Paiste

I really like the simple minimalist face design and the interesting case back. Maybe one for one to look out for 2nd hand in a few years.
