Everyone talks about holiday watches, but I very rarely go on holiday (I’m away all week in different cities all over Europe so to be honest, I quite like it at home). But the wife insisted on going away and when asked, the kids only wanted to do one thing - “swim with the fishies!” So I find myself here on the Red Sea snorkelling every day for the last 7 or 8 days with this as my companion.
It doesn’t really get worn much these day as I purchased it to wear on the outside of my jacket when riding my scooter to work.
I know there are a few divers on here, but if you’ve never been to the Red Sea, it really is pretty amazing. Snorkelling alongside giant turtles and right next to the most beautiful coral. I’d highly recommend the watch......
And this part of Egypt.

Had great fun in Hurghada, Egypt back in 2007 - wore a Breitling Seawolf - just seen at the edge of this picture:
some of the views:
These days I have worn my 5167A on beach holidays - but you tend to get flamed on watch forums for doing so - so watch out:
doubles up when going out for the evening.

My go to holiday and dive watch. First class in every respect for the purpose of this thread.

Is there a more quintessential holiday watch than a Seiko SKXsomethingorother?
That said, my Stowa A dial is often my holiday watch. An odd choice perhaps but it's simplistic dial and complete lack of branding is quite nice. I certainly enjoyed driving around Germany with it last year!
