I'll second that. There is plenty to love about this watch. It is beautiful, has an interesting movement and the name is, as you say, is iconic. I am a bit susceptible to a well named watch. To the extent of buying something not entirely attractive just for the name (late 70s Silverwave ).

This watch is earning the little Constellation star on its dial: I set it 15 days ago and it's now only 3 or 4 seconds fast.

I'm liking it so much that I would still be perfectly content if it had a plain black dial. The size and balance feel just right on my wrist, the brushed case and bracelet are nicely muted, and the readability is always superb. I'm very happy.
That is a cracker, really lovely.

Received back from the STS spa last week a watch I sold in 2013 and bought back in August.

It’s the fourth time I’ve owned a Speedsonic, the third time I’ve sent one to STS but only two individual Speedsonics have been in my possession (I’ve bought each back once after selling!)
Glad it’s gone to a forever home.

Old picture I'm afraid, but this one today. Just a lovely old (1972ish) watch.

Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.
