    Seiko kinetic service

So it turns out I can’t live with wonky chrono hands on my recently purchased Sportura. I think it also needs a battery change

Seiko want £181 to fully service and recalibrate the hands - not a horrendous price although that’s pretty much what the watch cost

Are there any recommended independents for these kinetics or are best left to Seiko?

Sometime ago I did some searching on the same topic and found

    https://kinetic-repairs.co.uk/seiko/index.html

I never got beyond looking at their website as I plucked up enough courage to perform a DIY capacitor replacement.

Therefore I can’t recommend them but their site does seem to have quite a lot of detail for the various Seiko calibres.

Thanks for that - £70 cheaper by looks of it (assuming the hand alignment is part of the service).

Hopefully someone here may have used them?
