Absolutely lost for words. I hope the SCUMBAGS behind this massacre get everything they deserve and more! I can not think of anything appart from greed being the motive. No value or consideration for another life.

Somehow I dont think traffickers have the welfare of their 'customers' at heart. Sad that people have to leave their country to a supposedly better/safer life when maybe the solution is to make their countries eg Syria/Iraq/Iran etc better places to live.
A man I was listening to on the radio was saying that they had probably been in there for weeks frozen, therefore they wouldn't show up on the security devices, Terrible
It’s an absolutely appalling tragedy. Those poor poor souls.
Don’t know why everyone is jumping on the frozen bit, the fridge trailers have compartments which you can be individually controlled either leave at ambient temperature, chill or freeze. It is just a case of pick the compartment and set the temperature. They are usually well sealed so it would be the co2 that would have got them not the cold. It would have had a seal on it and depending on company policy the driver might not have even been allowed to look in the back, he would more than likely just been given the trailer number and handed the manifest and it’s weight so could be just an innocent party. If this stop was intelligence led someone needs to justify letting them die.
