Folks, does anyone know if individual parts of the clasp from a SMP are available to buy on their own, or can you only buy a complete clasp? If the former, do Omega sell such parts directly or are there other specialists that would do them?

I’d seen that website (it’s actually the 1503/825 at £139 for my watch), but wasn’t sure if they were reputable?
Would also prefer to explore the option of just getting the section I need for now. Though £139 is a good price for a full clasp.
SWS are reputable but usually charge rather more than a boutique or dealer would ask. That said omega have imposed some pretty steep price rises recently meaning SWS's prices are looking less silly all the time, they are catching him up. Bracelet parts are available from a boutique or dealer so I would try them personally, last Bond bracelet clasp I bought was £80, that was only a year ago. It will likey be more now but that is where I would start. Another option is to pay for a part repair at Swiss Time Services, they have access to the full parts catalogue so might be worth asking for a price quote to fix it.

Great, thanks for that. I was planning on trying my local dealer tomorrow, but will also give Swiss Time Services a shout too.

Swiss time services came back with £109 for the clasp plus £49 fitting. I haven’t replied yet to find out if they will supply only at the £109.
I think you’ll find that STS aren’t allowed to sell the clasp, you’ll have to let them fit it.
If the clasp has issues it might be worth looking critically at the rest of the bracelet and its condition, they can wear extensively to a point where they’re not worth fixing. I actually tried to condemn one, advising the owner that it wasn’t worth spending money to refinish and fix it, but he insisted on having it done so I complied with his request and took his money.........he was throwing good money after bad in my opinion.
I’ve fitted oversize pins and tubes to address wear in the removable links, but if the fixed ones get really sloppy the bracelet isn’t worth fixing.
I’m sure STS can advise.

Re STS, yep but that's why I said to get them to fit it as a part repair. To perform smaller repairs and parts changes, they charge the RRP for the part plus £50 (or more if there is a lot of work involved), this is the part repair charge. This is the way it is still possible to get bezels, crystals and the like replaced without the expense of a full service. Of course with something straight forward it may be better to buy it from a boutique and fit it yourself. Some of the larger boutiques eg in London used to have an on site watchmaker who could provide a similar service. As Paul says, a new bracelet may be the best solution long term.

To my untrained eyes, the bracelet still looks and feels grand. It may not be to a pro, but I think I'd be happy just to replace the clasp. So far the £139 from Swiss Watch Spares is the most appetising, as it wouldn't be hard to do a DIY swap myself.
I intend on attempting to bend it myself before cracking open the wallet though! Nothing to lose really!
£90 apparently! Pretty unbelievable!
I managed to remove the clasp and bend the offending piece back into position. All is well now with the closing and the gap has gone. However, upon removing the pin it now doesn’t stay in place and with a bit of shaking of the watch, it slides out. Is this just due to the age of the watch? Do pins not like being disturbed?
I removed links on my previous SMP and Aqua Terra and the links always stayed in place after.
Could it be a combination of wear on the pin, and wear within the hole on the clasp? There is maybe a bit more “slap” at that joint than you would expect. I bent the pin a little to keep it in place, but perhaps a new clasp (which i assume would obviously have a tighter hole) and fresh pin may solve the problem the correct way.
It was an eBay purchase that arrived yesterday. The seller made no reference to the issue and when I flagged it last night, he changed his tune and just said I got a bargain- which I didn’t! Disappointing that no offer of a partial refund was made, if it were me I would’ve offered to refund the cost of a clasp.
I appreciate this thread is a few months old but I wondered whether sourcing a clasp and end links directly through an Omega boutique is as cost effective as going through STS or another source?
I have a pre-owned Seamaster GMT 50th anniversary edition that I bought a number of years ago. It is an early example (2003/04) with what is described in some forums as the Bond bracelet (1503/825) with the gold Omega logo on the clasp. As a result of the changing size of my wrist due to warmth, despite making use of a half link, I cannot get a bracelet sizing which is snug at all times. For that reason I'm sourcing a more modern micro adjustable clasp (117STZ001154) and end links (118ST1515 x 2) to attach the screw fitment clasp to the tube/collar bracelet.
I've spoken to the Omega Boutique in Birmingham's Bull Ring and the helpful assistant stated the cost is £190 for the clasp (whereas 3 years ago it seems to be more like £90) plus the end links at £36 a piece. This is a fitted price (although I would be happy to fit myself).
A quick search on ebay reveals the clasp at an even higher price.
Is the Omega Boutique my best bet?
As stated a few posts above, I paid £90 for the clasp just a few months ago.

Affirmative. I believe it was an Omega price, so should be the same anywhere.
I was going to fit it myself, but they were only looking £10 so I let them do it too. I then got £50 for my old one on eBay!
Watches of Switzerland in Birmingham have quoted the same price at the Omega Boutique - £190 for the clasp and £36 per end link. They are similarly sourcing through Omega's parts system.
So prices have gone up considerably in recent years!
