About time too!
It is finally going into production!
Looking forward to the orange version to replace the 156 that I still regret selling...

Shame as this looks ace

GMT independently settable, or slave? Slave I guess (as it has date).
I will be interested to see where Damasko is going the price these, the Sinn prices for the same complication are waaaay too high, and Damasko's simpler centre-minute crhono, the DC80 is a bargain for such an in-house complication.
It would also be very nice if Damasko could license this movement out to other companies.
Central Minute chronos are the way forward (as well as being an old idea).
D
Personally I think this looks hideous but if we all liked the same thing the world would be a very dull place :)

It looks pretty good but these cases are totally impractical.
Is there a bracelet option?
I find Damasko's styling very challenging.
He cuts out all texture, everything is satin
He cuts out all dial features like applied indices
The only font he uses is very basic
His choice in colours is unsubtle, to say the least.
And this is not one, but many of his other watches pair the font with sword hands, and for me they clash.
It is too austere, I think. I find most design restraint quite attractive, and I like the Pelagos a lot for that restraint, but Damaskos make the Pelagos look like a Liberace watch.
How are they impractical ? I’ve never seen a Damasko so was trying to learn more.
I really appreciate centre minute chronos.

It looks like they are going to be issuing it on steel as well, with a bracelet and all white markings dial

I like it, particularly the central minute hand. However, I don’t see the point of the 24hr sub-dial. Seems like a wasted dial?
Hi. Thanks for explaining. I understand now, and it makes sense.
They make all that effort to make hardened steel, so a relatively scratchable and chipable finish coating definitely runs counter to that. I wonder if they’ll do one without the coating.
Superficially, I have to admit I like the look of this watch a great deal. And I really appreciate Lemania style layouts.

Must admiy I wasn't overly enamoured with the black/green, but I think it looks rather smart in the 'normal' steel with white hands.
