I don’t know if it’s the only one on here, but I’ve not seen many GMT chronographs with the black dial:

Pretty sure this one is the only one:

    I don’t think there’s another of these:

    Breitling Chrono-Matic Calibre 11, circa 1969

There are a few here that I can understand why they might be the only one but I'd happily wear that!
    Agreed, I love that dial.

This thread is not good for my bank account... It has only made me add about 20 watches to my 'want' list!

    Nice Breitling.

That's a bit of a brute! It is a great looking watch if a bit big for most people's taste.

Bought this today from an antiques fair in Newark. Have wanted a Silberstein for a bit of fun for ages, then saw this amongst a few non descript Omegas etc.

Never noticed another of these, apart from the smaller version I gave my wife ...

There have been a few Oriosas on the forum, mostly chrono’s, but I’ve never seen another like mine

Unlikely to be unique but doubt there's many on TZ.

I can't recall seeing my International watch co mark 11 on here.
    Mine was issued in 1952.

    rare hooked 7 dial.

Admittedly, the last 2 are personal mods:

I was thinking about that Tudor the other month and wondering if it was still on the forum.

How it should have been from the start for the date version.

  41. #541
Yeh, I regret selling it a little

Now that’s interesting. That second hand is very similar to the one that came on a Bulova Accutron Deep Sea that I imported from the U.S. According to Paul at electric watches the hand was incorrect and he fitted the correct hand. I have seen a fair few Deep Seas and Snorkels, on the net, fitted with the same style of hand. I wonder if your Speed Master came from America and was “improved” at some time in its life

It’s a late 60s Japanese Ultraman, well named as ultra rare. Came with the orange Chrono hand.

Definitely improved but thankfully it’s factory fitted with the correct one.
There’s a few nice watches on this thread fitted with an orange hand.

Were you the guy on Antiques Roadshow. Dad bought the watch in Hong Kong in ‘68 when he was in the services. If not, very similar circumstances.

    No, not me!
I bought the watch about twelve years ago and sent it to Omega to be told it would be sent to Geneva and would be away for 12 months to service and restore.
I asked for it to be sent back and I put it in a drawer instead.…
Simon Freese serviced it two years ago with lots of help from an Omega forum member to source the correct parts for the movement to be fully functional again.
The thread is on Omega forums under the same username.

Bought this in a department store in Minsk in 2002.

Never seen another one with this dial and case combination.
