New Bulova. Don’t go, it’s pretty, honest

    Read about this:

    Good looking watch, I reckon

There’s nothing that appeals to me stylistically - sorry.

It’s no Charlize Theron, I grant you, but I would try to chat it up in a pub.

I think the two watches pictured on the website might appeal more if they swapped straps. I quite like it; more so than a typical Bulova offering but for me that's not saying a lot.

If they made a stainless steel case with black dial it would have an Explorer vibe, but these two colourways don’t work for me.

Switch the lugs, hand set and get rid of the "SELFWINDING" text and they might be on to something. I do like some of their other stuff though, the later editions of the Lunar Pilot are nice for instance.

    Not bad.

The one I want is a 39mm Lunar Pilot. That would sell like hot cakes if they ever did one that size.

Also this, which is supposed to be coming to market shortly : I hope they get the size and the price right :-)

I also have a soft spot for these, Bulova Computron. Very Blade Runner.

That's very nice, strongly reminds me of the Sinclair Black Watch.

As usual the horribly over photoshopped images make the watches look like a computer generated image, so it's hard to tell what the watch really looks like.

There's nothing overly offensive about it (except maybe the huge 'SELFWINDING' text), but equally nothing remarkable, imo.

If I wanted a new 3 hander, I'd want something more modern looking and if I wanted the vintage look, I'd choose a vintage watch, personally.
