That sounds like a good way to spend a bit of time on a weekend, hopefully it’ll be well attended.

More by luck than judgment (and thanks to a 'heads up' on SCWF), I found this announcement posted on Facebook yesterday:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/tota...epa=SEARCH_BOX (Seiko Watches is a closed group).
I can't see that the OP has posted it anywhere else - other than on Facebook.
Looking at the replies, only one other FB poster has committed to attend so far.
I'm not sure that I'll actually be able to make it myself in the morning (due to short notice and prior commitment).

Great dealer and recently refitted. One of the earliest GS dealers too.
Go to Los Gatos round the corner first for churros and hot chocolate.
Nope, but Los Gatos is ace and I would recommend the Saturday churros, have them as 1000 then pop round the corner to wood street for 1055.

Who wants to come along?
I'm on that group, am going and just spoke to Mark Green. He and Deacons have 4 or 5 more places available. He's happy for me to ask here so please send me a DM if you want to come and I'll forward him your names. People are also bringing a few watches to show. Should be fun.
Cheers, Jason
Would love to but I have family visiting. They have a blue snowflake in that’s stunning. They also had one of the last SLA025’s I think.
Hope you have a great time, the workshops are quite impressive for what looks a small store.

Would have liked to come along Jason, unfortunately it coincides with the All Blacks giving England a kicking in the RWC semi final!! A pre Xmas sounds good.
Last call. 1/2 places left for this tomorrow 11am. Message me if you want to come along.

Thanks for the invite to this event. I thoroughly enjoyed it. My relative incapacity meant I had time to have a long chat to the chap from Seiko. Thanks also to Richard and his staff at Deacons and their generous hospitality. They have a great range of watches on display.

I couldn't make it unfortunately, due to a prior commitment in the morning, which over-ran.
Anybody got any photos from the event ?
It would be interesting to know if they had any images or details of the Jan 2020 Alpinist releases, such as UK prices and when they expect to have stock etc.
Was a great event. A tour of the watchmaking rooms too. Some photos of the day.

Wow, some great pieces in there including the recent Tictac limited editions. Were these watches display pieces or were any for sale or were they collectors bringing their rare pieces in, just curious how it worked.
Two of the TicTacs are mine, one is another collector's. They guys in the shop, even the Seiko rep hadn't heard of them I don't think....which is understandable considering they're Japan only. A lot of the stuff I shot were the group's watches. The new Willard was for sale, so I put it next to my 6105-8110 for reference....that was cool.

Thanks and great that someone on here has the Tictac watches. I have seen them listed by Japanese dealers and a couple on e-bay, but most carry a premium. I came across them whilst on the hunt for the SARB013 & 015 and Japanese dealers and auctions are a good place to start. Still haven't found a 013 though.
Wow two Tictacs!
Thanks for sharing the pictures, yet to visit the store.
