    how can Breitling and IWC pricing be determined by the same guy???

    Er ... perhaps because he was the CEO of IWC and he is the CEO of Breitling.

    That first movie is legendary stuff. Start 2:30 for the best part on margins. Then 5:20 (skip that if you have a Portofino though).

    This should be no shock to anyone really.

    All brands are at this 'perceived value' vs intrinsic value game - from Tag to Lange, Patek etc.

    I bet a Lange 1 costs less than 20x to make than the average Tag. Likewise the premium on presious metal vs steel is many time more than the metal cost.

    At the end of the day if you spend the money, look at your wrist and smile without worry then it's money well spent - you're a long time dead.
