Fame comes at a heavy cost, many celebs have serious stalkers, trolls and general scumbags who try their best to do as much harm as possible.
It is very sad but it happens all over the world.
Awful news about the passing the of K-Pop star Sulli. I had no idea who she was until I googled her this morning but now I am truly overcome with grief and have written a poem in her honour:
Life
Beautiful noises, like a bird
Shining lights
I cried, you died
RIP Sulli

Sulli
You were pure
Now you have been
Sullied
Sulli sulli I loved you truly
now you're gone and we're apart
its finally time to let out this fart.
Come on guys. A 25 year old woman has died and you’re making sick jokes. How would you feel if this was your daughter?
Come along chaps, every disaster can be made into a positive.
How about we all do a deal, when I pop my clogs you all compose a really slushy obituary about me and if you pop it before me, I will do one for you.
I've got yours ready in advance Mick:
And so their work was done.
Mick P gave a big yawn and settled down to sleep
And, of course, when Mick P goes to sleep,
All his friends go to sleep too.
The bozos were ornaments in the bear pit.
Swanbourne and Walter were just dolls.
And Professor Cilla was a carved, wooden bellend in the shape of wood.
Even Mick P himself, once he was asleep, was just an old, saggy cloth expat,
Baggy, and a bit loose at the seams,
But nobody loved him.
Not sure If I know her, it was Val Kilmer that stated her passing.
RIP
Mocking the passing of a 25 year old girl is desperately poor form.
This would pretty bad crack even in the Bear Pit
Sorry, who?
Really can’t understand the mindset of some users on here. A member cracked a joke about Glen Campbell when he died and he was ripped a new one on here.
A young girl dies and people take the piss. Very odd.
Assuming insincere OP, that really is pathetic.
I'll just post a link to this thread rather than explain myself: https://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.p...Robert-Forster
Tony Parsehole in Viz is also good reading.
Surely not G&D appropriate OP. Even in the Bear Pit this would be in very questionable taste.
Two wrongs = right? Nobody's perfect, and I've been totally flayed here for a mildly ill-thought-out quip.
If anyone is interested I have a special offer on pitchforks, 3 for the price of 2. And free box of feathers with a litre of tar. No torches though as I do not have a license.
Fas est ab hoste doceri
OP was taking piss out of TZer posting a RIP for someone he didn’t know.
The use of Sulli was perhaps unfortunate and pretty sure no disrespect meant there.
My take on this anyway. RIP Sulli (and that other chap).
Am I the only one who opened this thread thinking it would be about the heroic pilot who landed on the Hudson?
And to think I was already preparing some words of solace to his widow who would have undoubtedly been logging in here seeking some comfort from the UK's third most popular watch collecting forum.
So clever my foot fell off.
I confused Sulli with Sia. Sia being the Australian singer who feels the need to cover her face when performing on stage. I’d not heard of Sulli until now. Sad to think of a young person thinking life has nothing more to offer.
The death and this thread are very sad
Have a word with yourselves guys
Safe to say I won't be using this one at next years Edinburgh Fringe.
I thought this thread was about a real hero - Sully.
I thought it was that bit of totty that used to be on the 'X Files"
Actually that was my first reaction too. I hope that man lives to a ripe old age and will be properly mourned when it's his time to go. If he ever turns up here in deep rural France and I'm still flying my balloon I'll offer him a free ride.
As for the rest, nobody's death should be the occasion for bad-taste jokes. Certainly not in writing.
My own daughter has been bullied online for quite a while until just recently. She has confessed to self-harming, and has also constantly thought about suicide, going as far as planning it.
She is now being helped outside of school, and my wife and I have kept her from school the last ten weeks (she is sixteen next week) because she is also bullied there and the school has been no help.
I must say that my wife and two children kept most of this from me, because, well, I would have handled it very differently.
Sorry to see such fun being had by some over such a sad event.
Bobbee: Hard to know what to say in response to your post. You know without hearing it from a stranger that your daughter is a better person than the bullies will ever be. Fortunately she has a strong family to support her through this experience. I hope life teaches the bullies concerned some very painful lessons sooner rather than later.
Thank you seabiscuit. Have you seen the 'hyenas' advertisement on the tv recently? A very apt description, as they do travel in packs.
Look, this thread was started as a dig at the numerous mawkish RIP threads started on this forum, the latest by someone who didn't even know who the dead guy was! I simply googled "who died today", used a Korean girl who I believed that nobody here would ever have heard of and that was it. Even the reason for her death was unknown when the thread was started so it has absolutely nothing at all do with making fun at suicide. Absolutely zero.
Anyway, please let the outrage carry on - it's almost as amusing as the Tony Parsehole write-ups in Viz.
