Same situation everywhere, I don’t think they put the “proper” watches on display. They all go to specific customers and are held back until they can fly

I have been through a few times, their policy is to leave everything out on display and from reading the other thread, that’s what they do as people have brought Daytona’s, Hulk’s etc as they were in the display cabinets

Similar experience (minus Hulk). Had a nice chat with her and didn't immediately ask the usual 'got any sports gear' questions but did enquire about a DJ41 which they didn't have.

Decided to grab a brew over the way from the shop and about 30 mins later watched an Asian gentlemen walk in and purchase what looked like a Sub.

They absolutely do. I text sales reps often and they offer to hold / look out for models

Most AD's do not expect full flight. If you run around flapping your arms they are generally satisfied that you really really want that watch.

A friend of mine has been in twice a week for the last 12 weeks with work, empty cabinets, just the odd DJ and OP on show, and no luck asking the salesperson..

Maybe they were just picking it up and had already purchased/agreed to purchase before??
