    SOTC & Hello

I could say I'm new here and use this as an introduction but I've been here for about 6 years lurking and using SC / the wealth of information..

Time I think to become more involved.

Shot below of the modest collection, complete with Aldi tea box.

From the left a very old accurist, first watch my parents bought me late 80's early 90's. Doesn't fit, or currently run - just needs a battery. Can't get rid of it though.

Armani watch again a gift for my 18th - not currently running or being worn. Sentimental tho.

In the middle is a cheap unbranded fashion watch but I liked the style. Cheap and nasty feel tho.

X 2 g shocks plus a knock off Sub bought in Bali about 20 years ago.

Orange Monster, Citizen eco drive and a Parnis.

    Steinhart, Christoper Ward

    Speedy & Max Bill Chrono.

Bit of a mixed collection I guess one could say.

Aiming to add a pelagos and a Superocean Heritage 2 in blue over the next couple of years.

    Max Bill

Love the Max Bill! This was my first 'proper' watch - I stared at it in the window of the shop for months before going in and trying to get a deal - they weren't having it. Then I happened to be in Frankfurt and got a huge discount a year later. Love it! Mine is also usually on the Milanese bracelet which suits it so well, but I put the original leather on the other day for a change.

    Embarrassingly I don't know!

Pretty sue it's 39mm - unsure if it's the ceramic bezel.

You're question prompted me to try to remember where I even got it from. Pretty sure I got it preowned, but despite numerous email searches etc I can't find any detail on where it came from.

    Frustrated me that did!

I can tell you right off the bat it's the 42mm from eyeballing the lug size and for certain it's the regular 42mm ceramic bezel with the glossy (disappearing increments). Unfortunately Steinhart have not extended the upgraded 39mm bezel to the 42mm version but they may do in future, who knows !

Yeah the Speedy doesn't like the fake haha. Which is also on a Seiko rubber strap to really complete the mish mash.

Orange monster is a cracking watch. Love it.

Somewhere earlier I'm sure someone asked for a measurement.... Seems to have vanished but here's a not very technical one

Deffo the 42mm judging from all the pictures and now the measuring tape verification. Nice little collection, varied .

Sorry that was me, on reflection I thought I was causing an unnecessary fuss so deleted it.

Thanks for the clarification though, deffo a 42.

    Lovely watch btw

    Whatever floats your boat 😉
I was caught off guard a few years ago by a chap who got off on men's wrists and had found a little slice of his personal heaven on watch forums...
