Sorry to derail, my wife keeps the house spotless, to the point she would prefer me hanging around the house in a white forensics suite but when it comes to her car its a pigsty!!!

Btw op, I have the same colour q5. Very tempted to do what you have done .

I chose Daytona Grey, pearl effect to go with one of my watches.

For the upkeep, I've bought a pressure washer (£120), foam lance (£45), 5 litres of shampoo (£45) and an air blower (£200). It does look nice though.

I bought a brand new £40 ish Autoglym cleaning kit from the local charity shop for £7. It's got everything you need including cloth. I also use a waterless spray from Aldi, £4.95 but clean car first. I could do a lot with £1400 but it wouldn't be cleaning my vehicles.

I got an autoglym kit for about £40 from Amazon, plus a selection of micro fibre cloths. I bought a convertible and didn’t really want to let the usual pressure washer gang near it. Pretty good products tbh although the car shampoo seems a bit ‘meh’ - wouldn’t want to spend much more though, the car’s filthy again within 24 hours even though it lives in a garage when not in use

Good move. They use a spray on the wheels that eats the plastic wheel centres. I've had a couple of cars where the logos have badly faded and someone told me it's the stuff these drive through places use.

Daytona Grey for me as well on my Q5. Great colour in all lights and comes up well with regular upkeep.

When I saw the title I had to check if it was Stryke who posted it ;)

Looks great buddy - really impressive (but it would be lost on my humble Ford Fiesta!)

I think it's the best colour for the car and mine being a Black Edition, it looks even better. IMHO
